So this is something that could be cool if you have younger kids. Blank Park Zoo is having a special Wild Lights festival April 1st thru May 31st that will have light up animals. Cost is a bit expensive I have to admit, but if you are looking for something to take the kids to, you might want to check it out. Here’s some more info.

April 1-May 31 (nightly, Wednesday – Sunday plus Memorial Day)
Time: 7 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Cost: $20/person; $18/Zoo member (ages one and under are free)
Packages: four pack tickets: $72 or $64/member

When purchasing tickets online, make sure your email is correct to receive your tickets. Masks are required for all guests ages two and above according to the city of Des Moines mask mandate.
